Evangelist Seth Ferguson was saved in Detroit, Michigan at 5 years of age. While at Camp CoBeAc, at the age of 9, he surrendered to the work of the ministry. When he was 16 years old, on a mission’s trip to Ireland, he answered God’s call to preach. After graduating from high school, he attended Northland Baptist Bible College for three years and then transferred to Pensacola Christian College. It was at PCC where Seth met Cynthia Marie Schmelzer. Seth and Cindy were married in the summer of 2002. In the fall semester of 2002, while attending an evangelism class taught by Dr. Bill Rice III, Seth recognized his call as an evangelist. After graduating from PCC in 2004, God continued to prepare the Ferguson’s for itinerant evangelism by clearly directing Seth and Cindy to travel as representatives for Pensacola Christian College. After two years of traveling for PCC, Seth and Cindy moved to Flushing, Michigan where Seth worked closely with the pastoral staff of Trinity Baptist Church. In February of 2007, Seth was ordained and commissioned as an evangelist. It is Seth’s calling and the burden of his heart to proclaim the glorious truth of God’s Word for the purpose of seeing revival within the body of Christ and lost souls saved from eternal death.
Formerly known as Cynthia Marie Schmelzer, Cindy was born in Towanda, Pennsylvania, and accepted Christ as her personal Saviour at the age of 5. Upon graduating from High Point Baptist Academy in Pennsylvania, she attended Pensacola Christian College where she earned an undergraduate degree as well as a Masters degree in Speech Education. For 3 years she had the privilege of being a part of the college speech faculty before serving with Seth as a college representative. In April of 2007, the Lord blessed the Ferguson’s with a son, Ian Seth Ferguson.
